St George's Episcopal Church
Welcome in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ
Since 1959, Saint George’s is committed to making a difference in the name of Jesus Christ on the Southside of Savannah and in the greater Church. We accomplish this through exceptional worship, radical hospitality and caring and grace-filled outreach to the community. We are centered in the Sacramental life, the Holy Eucharist being our principal act of worship. We are strengthened by the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ to reach out in welcome to the stranger and in service to the least of our brothers and sisters. We are grounded in the reality of being the Body of Christ in this place, the continuing Incarnation of the reconciling love of Jesus Christ.

Seventh Sunday of Easter
O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
Pray. Give. Receive.
Support of our ministry is always accepted.
Prayers for our Community, the Priesthood, and our Mission are what fuels the Parish of St. George's.

"We do not draw people to Christ by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely that they want with all their heart to know the source of it."
